Emotional Freedom Technique is a simple to use self-help technique which can be easily learnt and frequently produces quick and impressive results.
It can however also be used with different levels of sophistication and 'Matrix Reimprinting' represents one such recent development in the application of EFT and in the understanding of its possibilities.
It may be that when used in more complex ways to deal with past memories and early traumas EFT is best undertaken with a trained therapist.
However Matrix Reimprinting Using EFT is geared towards those wanting to use EFT for self-help purposes as well as towards practicing therapists.

EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique involves tapping on traditional acupuncture points while repeating a statement relating to a problem you are experiencing.
The tapping process and the mental focus involved in repeating the statement helps to release emotion and reduce feelings of stress, anxiety and psychological or physical discomfort. For more information about its various applications and how we use it see our earlier article.
The advantage of EFT lies in its ease of use, the speed with which it produces results and the fact that, as well as being a useful tool for the therapist, it can be readily adopted as a self-help technique. So how does it work?

Emotional Freeedom Technique, more commonly known as EFT, is a stand-alone therapy with a range of different applications. But it can also provide a helpful supplement to the hypnotic exercises we use in hypnotherapy.
Both Julian and Michaela Gill are qualified EFT practitioners. We offer appointments for EFT on at Broughton Physiotherapy Centre in Preston, Lancashire as well as at our home practice in Ribchester in the Ribble Valley.
We also like to be able to integrate EFT into some hypnotherapy sessions, where we feel this could be helpful for the client.
